Terms of Use

Effective date: 23 October 2025

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Tisreo Tour (“Tisreo Tour,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, content, newsletters, social channels, or any other services we provide (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Who we are & contact

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it.

3) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows the latest version. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., banner, email, or in-product). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

4) Your account

You’re responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

5) Content & intellectual property

  • Our content. The Services, including text, photos, videos, maps, and design, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or scrape our content without written permission.
  • Limited license to you. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services for non-commercial travel research and planning.
  • Links & third parties. We may link to third-party sites, tools, or booking platforms. We don’t control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.

6) User-generated content (UGC)

  • Your rights. You retain ownership of content you submit (posts, comments, photos, reviews).
  • License to us. You grant Tisreo Tour a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and display your UGC for operating, promoting, and improving the Services.
  • Your promises. You have the rights to your UGC; it doesn’t violate others’ rights or laws; and you will comply with these Terms.
  • Moderation. We may remove or refuse UGC (for example, illegal content, hate speech, harassment, explicit imagery, spam, scams, or privacy violations) consistent with our rules and applicable laws. See “EU users — DSA” and “Copyright — DMCA” below for region-specific processes. (EU DSA fully applies to all platforms from 17 Feb 2024.)

7) Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • break laws or infringe IP/privacy/publicity rights;
  • upload illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or deceptive material;
    interfere with or disrupt the Services;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content without written permission;
  • circumvent access controls or security;
  • post undisclosed paid endorsements (see “Advertising & Affiliates” below).

8) Travel, safety & no professional advice

Tisreo Tour provides editorial content for inspiration and planning, not legal, medical, immigration, safety, tax, or professional advice. Conditions change (e.g., visas, health guidance, weather, closures, local laws). Verify details with official sources and travel providers before you go.

9) Advertising, affiliates & reviews

We may feature ads or use affiliate links. If you buy through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Endorsements and reviews must reflect honest opinions and disclose any material connections, per the FTC Endorsement Guides (updated 2023). 

10) Privacy & cookies (summary)

Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice (publish these as separate pages). We aim to align with major regimes, including the EU/EEA GDPR, California CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and India’s DPDP Act 2023 to the extent applicable to our data practices. (GDPR: Regulation (EU) 2016/679; CPRA regulations effective Mar 29, 2023; DSA fully applicable since Feb 17, 2024; India DPDP Act enacted Aug 11, 2023 with implementing rules under consultation in 2025.) 

Regional notes (high-level, not exhaustive):

  • EU/EEA & UK: We will rely on a valid legal basis for processing personal data and respect data subject rights per GDPR/UK GDPR; see our Privacy Policy.
  • California: We provide notices and honor rights under the CCPA/CPRA where applicable (e.g., right to know/delete/correct/opt-out of “sale”/“sharing”).
  • India: The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 establishes a framework for processing digital personal data; implementing rules have been proposed and are being finalized.

11) EU users — notice & action (DSA)

If you believe content on our Services is illegal under EU law, EU users may submit a notice to our DSA contact at [report@tisreotour.com] with:
(a) a clear explanation of why the content is illegal; (b) the exact URL(s); (c) your name and email; (d) a good-faith statement of accuracy. We will act diligently and provide reasoning for decisions and available redress, consistent with the EU Digital Services Act. (DSA fully applicable to all online platforms from 17 Feb 2024.) 

12) Copyright — DMCA agent (US) & global IP

If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to our Copyright Agent at [dmca@tisreotour.com] containing all elements of 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). We may disable or remove material upon valid notice and terminate repeat infringers. Counter-notices may be submitted as permitted by law. 

13) Booking tools & third-party services

We are not a party to transactions you make with third-party providers (e.g., tours, stays, transport). Those providers’ terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, force majeure, or service quality from third parties.

14) International use

You are responsible for complying with local laws where you access the Services. Access from jurisdictions where the content or Services are illegal is prohibited.

15) Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and non-interference.

16) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tisreo Tour and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, travel bookings, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability relating to the Services will not exceed USD 100 or the amount you paid to use the Services in the 12 months before the claim—whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

17) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tisreo Tour, its affiliates, and personnel from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your UGC, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

18) Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for suspected violations of these Terms, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity. You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain sections survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, dispute resolution).

19) Governing law & dispute resolution

Insert the law and forum that best fits your entity and audience, while preserving non-waivable consumer rights:

  • If you’re a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, these Terms do not limit those rights and disputes may be brought in your local courts where required by law.
  • Otherwise (example only): these Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], excluding conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue will be the courts of [City, State/Country].
  • Arbitration/class-action waiver (optional; consult counsel): If permitted by law, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis; class actions are waived. Consumers may opt-out within 30 days of acceptance by emailing [legal@tisreotour.com].

20) Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms plus any referenced policies are the entire agreement between you and us.
  • Severability. If a term is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign to an affiliate or in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • No waiver. Failure to enforce any term is not a waiver.
  • Language. If we provide a translation, the English version controls unless local law requires otherwise.
